Java Senior Architects for IBM @ Pune

Requirements:

Java/J2EE -Senior Architects- Band 8

The Senior Architect is an individual contributor and technical leader for the organization. This position is responsible for the establishment, development and promotion of standard architectures / frameworks in the form of hardware and software components for a specific architectural discipline (e.g., data, application, infrastructure, security, platform, web, user interface (UI), etc.). He/She is also responsible for participating in the development of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) process and the technology standards management process within their specific discipline. The individual in this role provides consulting services to project and application development teams regarding the application of specific technology standards. He/she leverages vast knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of their technical area coupled with broad understanding of business processes to provide sophisticated architectural guidance to the IS community.

Required Experience:

More than 10 years of IT experience
More than 3+ years of experience as IT Architect / Solution Architect / Technical architect
Strong experience in IT disciplines in a multi-tier environment such as technical architecture (application/Information/Integration/Enterprise), solution architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis and management, information / Data Architecture and complex system integration.
Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments.
Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes.
Knowledge of network architecture, client / server processing and object-oriented analysis and design.
Strong exposure to the industry stand architecting methodologies eg Zachmann, TOGAF etc
Familiarity with basic graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories.
Strong experience in end-to-end experience including pre-sales, architecture
Strong experience of the complex engagement
Good experience with pre-sales, defining the architecture, designing the solution and leading to implementation.
