Job Description - Responsible for overseeing and managing the planning and execution of multiple projects
- Responsible for establishing processes to continuously improve team productivity
- Responsible for providing solution/technical architecture and design guidance
- Troubleshoot technical problems on a need basis
- Responsible for monitoring and tracking project progress
- Responsible for creating status reports, collecting metrics and presenting to client and senior management
- Responsible for identifying risks and escalating issues in a timely manner
- Responsible for customer management - functional and technical
- Responsible for resource management, appraisals, skills, utilization, team building
- Responsible for owning process area(s) for the CMMi initiative
- Responsible for providing support for pre-sales activities
Desired Profile
- Good communication skills
- Experience in managing projects end to end
- Experience in different SDLCs
- Experience in estimation techniques
- Experience working in a CMM Level 5 environment
- Experience in technical architecture and design
- Experience in SOA architecture
- Expert in Java/J2EE technology stack and related frameworks
- Expert in client-server programming and multi-threaded applications
- Good client handling skills
- Good team management skills
- Hands-on technical experience in the current project would be a definite advantage
- Exposure to securities domain/financial industry would be a big plus
